Colival Valdenvero Organic Cornicabra is an olive oil that combines strong character, authentic La Mancha flavor, and honest organic production. It is produced according to strict organic farming principles – without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. The olives are grown naturally, respecting the soil, biodiversity, and the environment, and are harvested early to preserve the highest possible levels of natural antioxidants and polyphenols.

Tasting notes
  • Intense green fruitiness with bright notes of freshly cut grass, green tomato, artichoke and olive leaf
  • Subtle sweet fruit notes — green almond, apple, banana and a hint of apricot
  • On the palate it starts gently, then opens into a rich, long-lasting aftertaste with green almond, liquorice and olive leaf nuances
  • Pleasant medium bitterness and elegant pungency in the throat — the hallmark of a true Cornicabra

  • Roasted vegetables and stews
  • Salads with bolder flavours
  • Dipping bread
  • Dishes that call for a bold, characterful oil

Pour it over the finished dish — cold is where this oil shows itself.

About the farm

Colival Valdenvero

Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real · La Mancha

A cooperative led by the world’s best woman producer

La Mancha is the flat, sun-baked heart of Spain, better known for wine than for oil. Colival has worked here since 1970 and today brings together about 900 families growing olive trees around Valdepeñas. Each year the cooperative presses more than three million kilograms of oil.

It is led by Consoli Molero. At the EVOOLEUM awards she was named the best woman producer in the world, and in the same year the Spanish association of mill masters chose her as the best mill master. Her initiative also gave rise to “Alma de Mujer” — the first Spanish oil made from the olive tree to the label entirely by women.

There are many varieties here — Hojiblanca, Cornicabra, Arbequina, Picual, Arbosana, Lecciana and others — and each one is pressed separately, so the bottle never holds a blend. We selected four of them that show that difference best.
  • A cooperative of about 900 families since 1970
  • Consoli Molero — the world’s best woman producer
  • Every variety is pressed separately

Frequently asked questions

Did not find your answer? Write to info@oliva.lt — we reply the same day.

How long does an opened bottle keep?

About 2–3 months. Keep it somewhere dark and cool, away from the stove and the window. It does not need to go in the fridge.

Why is the oil bitter and peppery in the throat?

That is the mark of polyphenols — the same antioxidants that make olive oil healthy. The sharper the bite, the fresher the oil.

Can you cook with it?

You can, but do not waste it. Early harvest oil shows itself cold — pour it over the finished dish.

How long will my order take?

Orders placed by 2 pm ship the same day. To a parcel locker it takes 1–2 working days. Shipping is free from €49.99.

What if the bottle broke in transit?

Send us a photo — we replace it free of charge, no arguments.
